Il Granaio sullo stretto is located in the historical “Palazzata Messinese” (an elegant building facing the city's harbour) overlooking the seaside and Via I° settembre. It offers both medium and short stays in one-room or two-room apartments (freshly renovated in October 2020). The apartments are fully furnished, equipped with every comfort such as: air conditioning, smart tv, free Wi-Fi, safety door, fully-equipped kitchens with induction hob.

- The building is equipped with lift and concierge service.

- Each apartment has one or more balconies.

- We offer a welcome kit (bed sheets and towels). We do not provide any linen change, cleaning service and breakfast during your stay.

The apartments are few minutes’ walk from the city’s main landmarks: Piazza Duomo and Messina’s cathedral, Viale S. Martino, Piazza Cairoli, wine bars, cafés, pubs and restaurants where you can relax, have fun and spend a nice soirée.

The apartments are:

- 500 mt. far from the main railway and maritime station where you can board on ferries headed to the Aeolian islands.

- About 2 km far from Caronte & Tourist (a ferries company that ensures daily connections to the rest of Italy).

- And only 50 mt from the paying car park “Cavallotti” a perfect place to park your car during your stay.
